World Horror Convention 2014!

In a few days I’ll be leaving Australia’s sunny shores for Portland, Oregon and the 2014 World Horror Convention.

Not only will I finally get to meet my Witch Hunts, co-creator Lisa Morton and catch up with my friend Rocky Wood (also a Witch Hunts co-creator), but I’ll also be able to meet face-to-face with some of the fantastic authors and artists I’ve come to know on social media.

There’s a wealth of opportunities to be had at WHC2014 and I’m going to grab them with both hands. I’ve already signed up for the pitch sessions and will try my luck with some of the best small press publishers in the business. I’ll also be joining in the mass signing event, sharing floor space with some incredibly talented authors.

PLUS there’re the Dealer’s Room!

To top it off, I’ll be joining the cream of the horror writing crop at the Bram Stoker Awards banquet and will even co-present the award for Superior Achievement in a Graphic Novel, with former Marvel Comics editor Scott Edelman.

Exciting times to say the least. Whatever happens I plan on having a blast.

So if you’re attending the World Horror Convention as a writer, artist, or a fan, please come up and say HI!

Keep an eye out on my Facebook page and Twitter feed for updates from the Con!
